Pleasant Friday, Drive-By Shooting, Decorating on a Budget

This afternoon will be rather pleasant for this time of year with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 40s. High pressure will start to shift east of us allowing the next storm system to move in this weekend. Expect showers to arrive Saturday afternoon with the steadiest rain arriving Saturday night into Sunday morning. Showers will linger during the day Sunday before we start off next Monday dry.

Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened on the east side Thursday evening on E. 76 Street near St. Clair Ave. When Cleveland Police arrived on scene they located at 18-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS transported the victim to MetroHealth Medical Center where he is being treated for his injuries. The preliminary investigation shows that the victim was in the 900 block of E. 76th Street when a silver auto drove down the street and fired several shots hitting the victim in the head.  After shooting the victim the silver auto fled the scene.
