Cleveland Police are investigating the shooting death of a 23-year-old Cleveland man.
Police say they received a call around 9 a.m. from MetroHealth Medical Center for a male that had been brought in after being shot. The victim, identified as Deangelo Chandler, died at the hospital.
An investigation reveals that Chandler had been involved in an argument around 6:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of E. 74th.
The argument escalated into a physical altercation and the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the Chandler. The suspect then fled.
Chandler taken to St. Vincent Charity Hospital then lifeflighted to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
