Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy J. McGinty announced Marc G. Doumbas, 44, of Westlake, and Giles Timothy Marshall, 63, of Olmsted Falls, both attorneys in the Cleveland area, were each indicted on two counts of bribery.
McGinty contends between April 19 and November 6, Doumbas and Marshall attempted to bribe a witness on two separate occasions. The defendants' sought to have a victim on a criminal case change their testimony in exchange for cash.
Tuesday's indictment is part of an ongoing corruption investigation. Investigators executed a search warrant at a Bentleyville residence, where additional evidence was obtained.
Arraignments for Doumbas and Marshall are scheduled for January 3.
