(WOIO) - Ohio Governor, John Kasich has asked Ohioans to join him in a moment of silence for the Connecticut school shooting victims.
One week ago today, a shooter opened fire inside Sandy Hook Elementary school killing 20 children and six adults.
Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy has declared today an official day of mourning in his state.
Via twitter, Gov. Kasich sent out the message to Ohioans to honor the victims with the moment of silence, Friday, Dec. 21 at 9:30 a.m.
