Plane wheel slides off runway after safe landing

A flight from New York to Cleveland slipped off the runway Friday night after landing safely at Hopkins Airport.

A spokesperson with Cleveland Hopkins Airport says that Delta flight 3899 was flying in from JFK to Cleveland.  It landed safely at 9:47pm.

As the plane was taxing to the terminal it turned a corner and the front wheels slid just off the paved surface and stuck in the snow.

There were no injuries and the passengers were taken off the plane and bused to the terminal.

19 Action News was told that this was a CRJ 200 plane that seats about 50 people.

The crews are working on getting the plane unstuck from the snow.
