Berea (WOIO) - The Browns placed wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi on injured reserve on Monday, ending his season.
Massaquoi started five of the nine games in which he appeared this season. He caught 17 passes for 245 yards in 2012.
Some are speculating whether the receiver has played his last game in a Browns uniform.
To take his place on the active roster, the Browns brought up quarterback Thaddeus Lewis from the practice squad.
Lewis was acquired by the Browns via waivers from the Rams last September. He was inactive for 13 games with the Browns in 2011 and dressed but did not play in three other contests.
Lewis was inactive for the first five games of the regular season this year before spending the past 11 weeks on the practice squad.
