WESTLAKE, OH (WOIO) - You can call it the calm before the storm Christmas Eve at Crocker Park in Westlake where the parking lot was packed. Plenty of people were out enjoying a flick. Al Kupchik was one of them. "Doing an afternoon matinee so I wouldn't have to worry about the crowds, says Kupchik.
Kupchik got an escape by being entertained on the big screen, but there may only be one way to escape the expected bad weather. His plan? "I'm just going to stay in. I have no shopping to do. I don't have anything that needs to be returned," he says.
Ese Ehwerherume visiting from Nigeria is excited to see his first major snowfall." I just want to have the experience, I want to get it, a lot of snow,' says Ehwerherume, laughing.
But for most Clevelanders the snow just comes with the zip code. " I don't think it's going to be a big deal. I'm going to keep my plans just the way they are," says Ryan Duns as he heads into a movie.
