The Plain Dealer reported on Saturday night that the Browns will fire General Manager Tom Heckert and Head Coach Pat Shurmur after the season. The paper reports that the two haven't been officially informed of the decision, but that they are expecting to be let go.
Shurmur has lead the team to only nine wins in his two year tenure as coach. He was expected to be fired. Heckert has been considered a success. He has infused talented players into the organization during his three year stint. However, new ownership means changes. Jimmy Haslam and new team President Joe Banner will shake up the front office.
