Ohio State is eighth in the latest AP Top 25 basketball poll. Duke remained number one, getting all but two first-place votes.
Michigan, who received the other two first place votes, is second. The Wolverines are followed by Arizona, Louisville and Indiana in the top five.
Kansas, Syracuse, Ohio State, Minnesota and Gonzaga rounded out the top 10. The Golden Gophers are ranked in the top 10 for the first time in 16 years.
The Buckeyes defeated Chicago State on Saturday 87-44 in their only game of the week. They'll open Big Ten play on Wednesday in Columbus against Nebraska.
