ROCKY RIVER, OH (WOIO) - Judge Peter Corrigan will pay a $500 fine, court costs and have to attend a three-day intervention program following his plea of guilty to driving with a blood alcohol level over the limit.

The judge apologized in court, calling his arrest the result of a lapse in judgement.  His attorney told the court he immediately sought treatment after he was ticketed.

An assessment the judge obtained found he had no dependency issues, but he will be on probation for a year with the results of his treatment being reported to the court.

The judge was found passed out in his car in the Metroparks early in the morning hours of December 17.
