CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - New charges have been filed against the man accused of chaining his dog to a tree and opening fire.
Raymone Clements has been indicted on cruelty to animals and two weapons charges.
The shooting of the dog happened in November in Cleveland Heights.
Clements had been charged in city court, but now a Cuyahoga County Grand Jury has indicted him on felony charges, moving the case to county court.
That means Clements could face more serious penalties.
Forest the dog survived the vicious attack, and is now with a foster family. Once he heals completely, he'll be available for adoption.
