Swisher stays hot as Indians win 4th straight

The Indians (10-5) extended their winning streak to 4 consecutive games and defeated the San Francisco Giants for the second time in 3 days by a score of 6-4 today at Goodyear Ballpark.

Starter UBALDO JIMENEZ worked 4.0 strong innings, retiring 11 of the 14 batters he faced on the afternoon. He faced the minimum through 3.0 IP and allowed his only run in the 4th after Brandon Crawford was credited with a triple on a ball lost in the sun and then scored on a Hunter Pence single.

Down 1-0, RYAN RABURN gave the Tribe a lead it would not relinquish with a 2-run double in the bottom of the 4th, his second two-sacker of the contest to raise his spring average to .550 (11-20) with 6 extra-base hits (2 2B, 4 HR) and a team-high 11 RBI. A 4-run 5th inning cemented the victory, as JASON GIAMBI followed NICK SWISHER's 3-run homer with a solo blast of his own. Giambi and Swisher both had multi-hit efforts and 2 runs scored. MICHAEL BOURN's lead-off triple kicked off the Indians' big ralley.

Cleveland is set to travel to Surprise Stadium on Friday where the club will take on the Kansas City Royals for a 3:05PM ET tilt. RHP COREY KLUBER is scheduled to take the bump opposite LHP NOEL ARGUELLES
