Aaron Craft hit a tie-breaking 3-point shot with half a second left to lift Ohio State to a 78-75 win over Iowa State. "The moment's a lot bigger than me," said Craft, who had allowed Iowa State to catch up with missed free throws and a missed jump shot. "It just happened to be in my hands at the end." And Craft made it count.
The Buckeyes point guard finished with 18 points. On that last possession he spent plenty of time dribbling at the top of the key, none of his teammates got open for the shot. So Craft took his own and made history.
DeShaun Thomas lead OSU with 22 points, LaQuinton Ross had 17 off the bench.
The Buckeyes move on to the Sweet 16 for the fourth year in a row. They'll take on Arizona in Los Angeles either Thursday or Friday.
