Cleveland Police released the 911 call made Sunday afternoon after a witness heard Aliza Sherman screaming for help.

Caller: "Don't die lady, just stay with me okay?"  Dispatcher: "Just try and keep her still." Caller: "Don't move lady. Please do not move."

Try as they might, the man who heard 53-year-old Aliza Sherman's screams for help and a dispatcher couldn't save the Beachwood mother.  She died at MetroHealth Medical Center of multiple stab wounds.

Sherman, who is divorcing her husband Sanford of 30 years was attacked outside her attorney's office building.

At her house, neighbor Marilyn Lenson tells us, "We haven't seen Mr. Sherman since it happened."

Lenson is saddened by the murder, "I feel bad for her kids and I feel bad for her."

Sherman's purse was still with her, although it is not known if anything was taken.
