Last month, reports were saying former Browns wide receiver Josh Cribbs was close to signing with the Arizona Cardinals.
However, Cribbs failed a physical with the team after having surgery to fix a torn meniscus. Now, according to Fox Sports' Alex Marvez, Cribbs will re-take his physical with the team and could sign with them in a few weeks.
Cribbs, one of the most popular Browns the past few seasons, made his career by returning punts and kicks. In his eight year career, Cribbs has returned three punts and eight kickoffs for touchdowns.
Last year, Cribbs caught only seven passes for 63 yards.
