Cleveland (WOIO) - It was another rough season for the Cavaliers, and it came to a predictable end, as they closed it out with their 58th loss, 105-98 in Charlotte on Wednesday night.
With the loss, head coach Byron Scott reached an undesirable milestone: in three years as coach of the Cavs, his teams won a total of 64 games, two fewer than the Miami Heat
won this season. But Byron isn't solely to blame, considering the young talent, constant injuries, and overall rebuilding project.
At least Kyrie Irving closed with a strong effort, throwing down a team-high 24 points and dishing out 10 assists. But it still wasn't enough, as the Bobcats send the Cavs into another offseason, and another lottery.
