Houston had a big problem on Saturday night, they could not stop the Cleveland Indians. The Tribe scored eight times in the first inning, then added six more in the second inning. They kept on scoring, adding another run in the third, three more in the fourth and another in the fifth. By the time the night ended, it was 19-6 Indians.
Mark Reynolds, Carlos Santana and Jason Giambi all homered for the Tribe. Giambi drove in five runs, Reynolds four, Santana and Nick Swisher each drove in a pair. The Indians finished with 22 hits as a team.
Corey Kluber was awarded the win out of the bullpen because Cleveland starter Scott Kazmir did not pitch five innings. In his first start of the year he went 3.1 innings, allowing three runs.
The rubber match of the series is tomorrow.
