Cleveland (WOIO) - Justin Masterson continued his tremendous start, and his teammates did just enough to help earn him another win, as the Indians rallied past the White Sox on Monday, 3-2 at U.S. Cellular Field.
His teammates gave Masterson the early lead, as Lonnie Chisenhall doubled home Jason Giambi in the second for a 1-0 lead.
The next two runs belonged to the White Sox, as Conor Gillaspie homered to right in the bottom of the second, and Hector Gimenez doubled home Alexi Ramirez for a 2-1 lead in the fourth.
But that's all the Sox were going to get, as Masterson settled down, going seven innings, giving up just two runs on
four hits, and earning his fourth win of the season.
Asdrubal Cabrera delivered the go-ahead two-run RBI single in the 8th, and Chris Perez came on to record his third save in the 9th.
