The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has confirmed two people were killed in a multi-car accident in Broadview Heights. The victims are an adult man and an adult female.
According to Cleveland ODOT, police have just released traffic on I-77 southbound, so it is now open. Drivers are advised to use caution on I-77 southbound between Wallings Road and SR 82.
It is still unknown how long I-77 northbound will remain closed, so motorists should continue to use alternate routes. I-77 southbound is open and drivers should proceed with caution through the area
It's a warmer morning, and it will be a breezy and warmer afternoon. Expect an increase in high clouds this afternoon, with rain and storms arriving after sunset out ahead of a cold front. The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit is asking for the public's help in identifying a person of interest in the Aliza Sherman homicide.
The individual was seen on video in the area E. 13th & Hamilton after the crime occurred.
The video was released Monday. It shows someone, running away from where the Cleveland Clinic nurse was stabbed 11 several times.
Police are calling the shadowy figure a person of interest.
Sherman's murder took place in downtown Cleveland on March 22 and still no arrests in this case. Police are hoping the surveillance video helps catch the killer.
The 53-year old mother was leaving her attorney's office in the midst of a messy divorce that was set to go to trial.
Family and friends along with Crime Stoppers offering a $25,000 reward.
