Fresh off of re-hiring head coach Mike Brown, the Cavaliers are trying to acquire a new player to go with Kyrie Irving.
According to Yahoo! Sports, the Cavaliers are trying to trade for Portland's LaMarcus Aldridge.
Aldridge, a former All-Star, averaged 21.1 points and 9.1 rebounds last season for the Trail Blazers. In his career, he averaged 18.3 points and 7.8 rebounds a game in seven seasons.
In order to trade for Aldridge, the Cavaliers would likely have to give up a combination of young players, like Tristan Thompson, and draft picks.
