ERIE COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - Two bodies pulled from Lake Erie Friday have been tentatively ID'd as missing kayakers Viola, 12 and Jonathan Francis, 30.
The father and daughter went missing on April 7 after kayaking in the Sandusky Bay.
A fisherman spotted the girl's body around 11 a.m. Friday eight miles north of the Vermilion River.
The Erie County Coroner made the tentative ID for Viola by clothing and a unique piece of jewelry.
Later in the afternoon, a second body was pulled from the water near Cedar Point.
The Erie County Sheriff confirmed that they've tentatively ID'd that victim as Jonathan.
