Two men have been taken into custody at the scene of a lengthy standoff on Cleveland's west side Monday.
Police were called to the 2200 block of West 103rd Street around 2:45 a.m. after residents saw two men firing guns into the air. Neighbors say each man has several guns.
When police arrived, the men fled and holed up in a home.
One man was led out in handcuffs around 11:40 a.m., and the second man was taken into custody around 1 p.m. Both men, whom have yet to be identified, surrendered peacefully.
After entering the home, police located a marijuana grow operation in the basement and second floor of the home. The bomb unit was called in to secure the scene so the plants could be removed.
Two guns were recovered, and Animal Control removed dogs from the home.
An investigation is underway.
