The Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department confirms a woman walked into a justice center office Friday and made a direct threat to kill Judge Nancy Russo.
19 Action News Reporter Ed Gallek has learned a court employee on the 11th floor was approached in an office, and the visitor said she was there to kill the judge.
But the worker didn't tell anyone or take any action until an hour later. The worker finally told a supervisor. The person making threats had long since disappeared.
So it's unknown if the intruder was someone with a criminal case before the judge, a civil case, or if she has some other reason making her angry.
The sheriff's department is investigating.
