Cold Case Suspect in Court, Deadly Texas Tornadoes, Best Credit Cards

The convicted sex offender accused in the 1984 rape and murder of a Cleveland teen was in court on Thursday morning.
The judge set bond at $5 million dollars for Hernandez L. Warren. Warren is charged with aggravated murder.
Gloria Pointer, 14, was raped and murdered on the east side on her way to school in December of 1984. She was found dead in the stairwell of an apartment building.
19 Action News Reporter Ed Gallek was first to learn on Tuesday about Warren's arrest. He was linked to the case through DNA.
"Due to the DNA hit, due to the evidence that was retested and retested we finally got a DNA profile," said Cleveland Police Detective Lem Griffin.
The case will now be bound over to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office which is expected to seek additional charges from a Cuyahoga County Grand Jury.

Strong storms and tornadoes ripped through rural parts of Hood County, TX, Wednesday, killing at least six people.  
The Granbury area, southwest of Fort Worth, appeared to be the community that has sustained the most damage.  
The Hood County Sheriff's Office said the apparent twister initially touched down in Granbury. It then touched down again several times in Hood, Tarrant, Dallas and Parker counties. 
The National Weather Service has not yet confirmed that it was a tornado.
At least two tornadoes touched down, destroying an untold number of homes. Many of the homes in the Rancho Brazos subdivision are Habitat for Humanity homes. 
Sheriff Roger Deeds said many of the homes in that neighborhood sustained "heavy damage to totally destroyed." 
Fourteen people are currently missing. Officials said it is possible that the individuals could be sheltering with family, CNN reported.
