Cleveland (WOIO) - Amazing what a difference a couple of days makes. On Tuesday, Tribe fans were panicking. Their team had just dropped its' fifth straight game, to the Reds in Cincinnati. But the Indians returned home, and returned the favor to the Reds, taking the last two games of the interleague series, including a 7-1 win on Thursday night.
The Indians got it rolling in the fourth, when they put seven runs on the board, all with two outs. Michael Brantley started the barrage against Homer Bailey with an RBI single, and, in order, Yan Gomes, Ryan Raburn, Michael Bourn, Jason Kipnis and Asdrubal Cabrera all followed with RBI hits to blow the game open.
Scott Kazmir did the rest, going seven strong innings, striking out five and giving up just one run.
