Tyreke Evans is off to New Orleans

Free agency continues to heat up as the Sacramento Kings have agreed to a three team deal that will send Tyreke Evans to the New Orleans Pelicans. The reported deal will send Evans to the Pelicans in a sign and trade deal worth four years and $44 million.

The Pelicans will also acquire center Jeff Withey from the Blazers, the Kings will receive point guard Grieves Vasques from the Pelicans and two second-round draft picks from the Blazers and Portland will receive center Robin Lopez from New Orleans along with shooting guard Terrell Harris.

This trade ends a week full of rumors surrounding Evans, who completed an extremely successful 2012-2013 season averaging 15.2 points per game.

Evans tweeted in appreciation to his Kings fans Thursday night. " Just got back to Sac. had a great 4 years here. The Kings fans are amazing and I will never forget you. A lot of memories. Thank you all!!!"

The deal can not take place until July 10.
