Through thick and thin, Nike has showed loyalty to Tiger Woods, and on Wednesday, the company announced they plan to continue that relationship, signing Woods to a new endorsement deal.
Financial terms or length of contract have not been confirmed, but Woods and his associates are happy to continue business with Nike.
"We're comfortable with where we ended up and the career trajectory that Tiger will be on with Nike," Woods' agent Steinberg told ESPN.com at Muirfield. "I'm thrilled we were able to complete this deal."
The last deal between Tiger and Nike was inked in 2006. His overall off-course earnings neared $77 million in 2012.
President of Nike Gold, Cindy Davis, said "We look forward to sharing many more of the exciting awe-inspiring sport moments that Tiger is known to create in golf. At the same time, we will continue to utilize his insights to develop the most innovative products that support golfers reaching their full potential."
Woods has 14 major championship wins under his belt and has earned more than $100 million in prize money over the course of his career.
