The Horseshoe Casino reports that after Kevin Lewis, the second $1 million winner of the Summer Giveaway, eagerly collected his prize the the casino realized it had made a blunder.

During their final verification check, casino leadership discovered that a second Cincinnati resident with the same winning name, Kevin Lewis, was the true winner of the drawing.

"This was our blunder," said Horseshoe Cincinnati Senior Vice President and General Manager Kevin Kline. "So, consistent with our commitment to do the right thing for our guests, Horseshoe awarded a $1 million dollar prize to each of the men."

Kevin Lewis and Kevin Lewis join Cincinnati resident Reatha Jenkins, who won $1 million on July 20, as Southwest Ohio's newest millionaires.  A fourth and final $1 million winner will be crowned on Sunday, Sept. 1.  "We'll be giving away a final million dollar prize over Labor Day weekend as promised at the beginning of the Summer Giveaway promotion," Kline said.  "No matter what your name is, it's not too late to enter!"

Starting today, Total Rewards members may enter the September 1 drawing by swiping their membership card at a Promotion Kiosk inside the casino daily for a free entry, and will earn one additional entry for every 25 Tier Credits earned playing slots or table games. Entries will be accepted through  the 8:30 p.m. EDT deadline on Sun., Sept. 1, and the drawing will take place at 9 p.m. Total Rewards membership is free and guests may sign up at www.totalrewards.com or by visiting the Total Rewards Center inside the casino. Winners need not be present to win.

Horseshoe will make millionaires out of a total of seven lucky Ohioans this summer as sister-properties Horseshoe Cleveland, with ThistleDown Racino, also conduct a $3 Million Summer Giveaway promotion.
