The jury continues to deliberate in the aggravated murder trial of former Cleveland Police Officer Dale Edwards. Wednesday is day three, a painful day for the victim's mother.
Laura Graves has followed every minute of the trial and the jury's deliberations in the Dale Edwards case. He is charged with aggravated murder in the shooting death of Antoine Graves after an argument over a leaky furnace in an Edwards rental property Antoine rented.
Antoine is Laura's oldest son, and Edwards nephew.
Laura knows Edwards well and you may too. Edwards was a body guard for Mike Tyson, in fact he was in the next room when Tyson raped a woman.
He was somewhat controversial as a police officer, and very controversial after he paid off Harvest Baptist Missionary churches $200,000 mortgage, then locked the congregation out when they were slow paying back.
Nothing in the courtroom can bring back Antoine, but something that happened inside sticks with Laura.
"He didn't show no remorse for my son's murder. He didn't even say he was sorry," said Laura.
