BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) -

After issuing arrest warrants for two men police say were involved in the kidnapping and robbery of a University of Toledo foreign exchange student, one has turned himself in to authorities.

The victim was held inside a Bowling Green home at knifepoint across the street from a daycare, while a group of suspects took his credit cards and went shopping.

"Not being Asian, the store manager asked for some identification, at which point, he left and the transaction didn't go through," explained Major Tony Hetrick.

It was later determined that Blake Long was renovating the home and two weeks before the kidnapping, filed a police report asking them to keep an eye on the property.

"Blake Long was painting that house. It was vacant and he had made a report that some of his items had been stolen from the residence," explained Hetrick.

His sister, Brittany, was taken into custody last week. Police say she picked up the victim after her friend, Hui Zang, lured him in an online chat room pretending they would take him on a trip to Cedar Point. Zang even pretended to be a victim.

After leaving the home, the suspects continued to hold the victim hostage at the Econo Lodge in Holland.

Bowling Green Police issued warrants for Blake Long and Nicholas Martinez for the alleged incident that happened earlier this month. Police say the men were identified during the course of their investigation. Long, the brother of Brittany Long, turned himself into the Bowling Green Municipal Court Thursday afternoon.

The fourth and final suspect, Martinez, remains on the run. The 19-year-old is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds. Police want to warn the public that he could be armed and should not be approached.

If you know the whereabouts of Martinez, contact the Bowling Green Police Division at 419-352-2571 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-54CRIME.
