CLEVELAND, OH -- The Browns are not ruling out rookie linebacker Barkevious Mingo for the season opener. Head coach Rob Chudzinski said the next six days ''will be big and we will see where it goes'' following Thursday night's win against the Chicago Bears.
The first-round pick has not practiced since August 15th. He bruised his lung against the Detroit Lions and was hospitalized for two days. Mingo has been lifting weights and running.
The Browns open the season at home against the Miami Dolphins on September eighth.
