Brunswick man arrested with child porn

BRUNSWICK, OH (WOIO) -

A 26-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning after a police raid at his home.

Brunswick Police Officers searched the George Drive home of Brandon Thomas Graham Price and confiscated his computers and electronic media storage devices.

The Internet Crimes against Children Task Force got a tip and a search warrant was issued for the home Wednesday morning. It is the same home investigators say where an unlicensed child day care is run in the basement.

"We were blind sided by everything that happened," says the suspects father John Price.

Price's father say he is stunned by the troubling allegations.

19 Action News asked John Price if his son is guilty of the crime and he replied, "It's a serious crime. He's waiting for arraignment through the system. Whatever they decide they have a case."

Police tell us they don't believe the children at the home daycare were involved in this case.

Investigators took several pieces of evidence from the home including computers, but that's not all.

"They basically were here took all the devices, laptops, memory cards everything they could find," says John Price.

"Anytime you deal with any crime involving children especially something as disturbing as child pornography I think it affects everybody," says Sergeant Steven Hoover.

Now a father is trying to figure out how his son could be accused of something so sick.

"No he has no criminal background. He's done nothing," says John Price.

Investigators say there could be more charges against Brandon Price. The Medina County prosecutor is reviewing the case. It will go to a grand jury.

Thursday night Price was still behind bars on a $100,000 bond.
