West side residents 'light up hate,'

Good Sunday morning Northeast Ohio!

Concerned citizen's came together Saturday night to hold a demonstration against the recent violent attacks on the city's West side.

About two dozen residents met at West 93rd and Detroit Ave with flashlights, candles, and other lights for the rally called "Light up Hate."

The demonstration was in direct response to the beating of Jared Fox. Fox was violently attacked by a group of men as he left a bar on Detroit Ave last Saturday night. Fox believes he was targeted because he was gay.
