GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - A man is now recovering after allegedly being attacked by a pizza delivery driver and two of the driver's friends.
It happened on Tuesday outside East Coast Pizza on Turney Road in Garfield Heights.
Police say the victim had gone to the shop to complain about the delivery driver. The driver had apparently delivered a pizza to him earlier that evening, but had gone to the wrong house and was allegedly rude.
While the customer was in the shop complaining, the driver apparently overheard everything.
The customer was assaulted while getting back into his car. He suffered a ruptured spleen and broken ribs.
Garfield Heights Police have arrested the pizza delivery driver, 19-year-old Bretton Adams. He is charged with felonious assault.
