Walk to Remember at the Zoo to benefit hospice patients

The Hospice of the Western Reserve and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo are teaming together for a "Walk to Remember" to benefit hospice patients and their families, on Sept. 15 from 8 a.m. till noon.

Over 1,000 people will walk 2 miles to celebrate and honor the memories of their loved ones. Money raised will go to support the Hospice of the Western Reserve provide care, fulfill last wishes, music and art therapy and grief counseling.

After the walk, there will be a pancake breakfast, a live band, face painting and other fun family activities. The Burning River Roller Girls will also be there, and they will kick off the walk by the Palava Pavilion.
