(WOIO) - It just isn't a Monday without a good Tim Tebow story. A group of fans in Jacksonville held a rally Monday afternoon to convince Jaguars owner Shad Khan and his front office to deliver Tebow to the Jags. The group has bumper stickers, t-shirts, and hats to promote their campaign that culminated in a meeting at EverBank Field.
The Jaguars opened the season with a 28-2 home loss, and followed up Sunday with a 19-9 defeat at the hands of the Oakland Raiders.
To accompany the rally, and previous offer by Gene Simmons, Tebow now has a $1 million dollar offer from the Moscow Black Storm to play for just two games in the American Football Championship of Russia on September 28th.
Black Storm owner Mikhail Zaltsman claims to have spoken with Tebow directly and wants to fly the Heisman trophy winner in for their semifinal against the Moscow Patriots. Some story's you just can't make up.
