Browns will wait on QB decision

BEREA, OH (WOIO) - Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski called Brian Hoyer's performance on Sunday "gutsy", but will wait until least Wednesday before announcing that the St. Ignatius grad will start against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

"I'm gonna wait until I have all the information", Chudzinski said Monday at his weekly press conference, referring to an updated status on Brandon Weeden's sprained right thumb, as well as reviews from the game tapes on Hoyer's win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Hoyer, in his Browns debut, and only second NFL start, threw for 321 yards and 3 touchdowns, including the game-winner to Jordan Cameron in the final minute.

Hoyer also threw three interceptions, but as Chudzinski said, "made the plays" when it mattered most, on the Browns final game-winning drive.
