We've told you that Cleveland is experiencing a building boom and bringing with it, some good paying jobs.
And while men are doing most of the building 19 Action News has found one woman who is proving she can do the work too.
Miss Fatima Ware is hammering her way to a good living.
She is taking advantage of a free apprenticeship program offered by the Sheet Metal Workers local #33.
She's getting paid during her training and she's one of the trail blazers in a male dominated career.
"I think the hardest part is the sizes and weights of the material that you work with because as a woman you're not as strong as a man so sometimes it can be a bit challenging to try and lift something up and carry it up a ladder and try and install it over your head," said Fatima Ware.
Fatima is three years into the five year program and what's her motivation?
"To be better, to try to be better than the men," exclaimed Fatima.
And to make a great career for herself. It's on the job training so Fatima has already worked installing massive duct work on some big projects like the Medical Mart, University Hospitals, and Tri-C.
You might qualify to become a sheet metal worker too.
If you would like to apply for the training program you must have a high school diploma or GED.
The great part, if you get in it's a free five year program and you can get paid while you train.
