Police investigate hit and run, Priest out on bond, Sunday temps in the mid 60s.

Today’s weather: Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60s. Expect more clouds than sunshine.  There is also a risk of spotty showers.

  Cleveland police are on the scene of a robbery at Taco Bell. It happened at 10:35 a.m Sunday on the 4100 block of Lee Road . Police have not released details about any injuries, or if there were any weapons used during the robbery. Stay with 19 Action News as this story develops.

Cleveland police are searching for the driver who hit a 76-year-old bicyclist on I-71, and then sped off. On October 12, at 10:30 a.m., Cleveland Police received a call for a hit-skip accident involving a bicyclist on the I-71 southbound entrance ramp from Denison Avenue. When officers found the bicyclist, EMS was notified and transported the victim to the MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was confined for his injuries. Due to the severity of the accident, the Cleveland Division of Police Accident Investigation Unit was notified and is conducting the investigation. 

A Cleveland priest arrested for soliciting sex has been released from jail after posting bond. James McGonegal, 68, was arrested Friday afternoon at Edgewater Park for  soliciting sex, according to sources with Cleveland Metroparks. McGonegal , who is the priest of St. Ignatius of Antioch Church on Lorain Ave, was released from the Cleveland City Jail after posting bond Saturday. Mcgonegal has been charged with one count of soliciting sex after testing positive for HIV.  He is facing a 3rd degree felony.
