PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KS (KCTV) -

A Prairie Village husband says he is humbled by the outpouring of love and support his family is receiving after his wife was killed in a horrific crash last week.

Tiffany Mogenson, 30, was killed after a speeding driver tried to elude police and caused a wreck Friday at 75th Street and Roe Boulevard.

Her husband, Mike Mogenson, said his wife touched so many lives.

She owned and ran The Pointe Dance Studio in Blue Springs. She had been dancing for almost all of her life, including while in college at the University of Missouri - Columbia.

Tiffany Mogenson was also a Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader and the director of the Missouri Mavericks' Spirit Squad.

"We have received condolences from Alaska to Florida and New Jersey to California. We have heard from studios from all over the country. Today is the 18 month anniversary of our wedding and we will celebrate Tiff's life with music, laughter and love. If you knew Tiff or were moved by her spirit, please join us in celebration. We are comforted by all the love she inspires," Mike Mogenson said in a written statement.

Roy Lee Maney, 31, of Shawnee, has been charged with DUI and involuntary manslaughter in the deadly accident.

Maney is scheduled to be in court Tuesday.

Prairie Village police said they tried to pull Maney over at 75th Street and Lamar Avenue, but he took off.

Officers believe he was going at least 100 mph when he rear ended Tiffany Mogenson's car waiting at a stop light. She died at the scene.

Maney is being held on a $200,000 bond.

Memorial services for Tiffany Mogenson will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday by the lake in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Rd., in Kansas City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a dance scholarship fund.
