Suspicious package left at bank in Parma



On Tuesday, December 31, at approximately 5:00 p.m., the Parma Police Department received a call from employees of the Huntington National Bank, located at 6660 Ridge Road in Parma, regarding a suspicious package that was left inside.

Officers arrived at the bank and determined that the package was suspicious in nature.

The Parma Police Department contacted the Southwest Emergency Response Team (S.E.R.T.) for assistance.

The S.E.R.T. Team responded to the bank and subsequently quarantined and secured the item.

The incident is under investigation and there is no further information available at this time.
