Buckeyes drop third straight

Minneapolis, MN (WOIO) - A miserable night shooting the ball, and too many turnovers, added up to another loss for the Buckeyes on Wednesday, as they fell to the Minnesota Golden Gophers, 63-53 at Williams Arena.

It's the first time in five years that the Buckeyes have lost three straight games, and much of it can be traced to their 35% shooting.

LaQuinton Ross did throw down 22 for the Bucks, but only one other player, Sam Thompson, finished in double figures, with 12.

The Gophers, on the other hand, shot 51% from the field, with three players in double digits.
