Body ID'd as missing man, Monkey euthanized, Murder suspect arrested

Portage County Sheriff David Doak confirms that the body found inside a Portage County apartment has been positively identified as a man who went missing on December 31.

19 Action News has learned that Erie County Health officials euthanized a monkey on Saturday, January 18, after it bit a customer at a Vermilion car dealership on Monday.  

Police have arrested the suspect involved in a homicide on the city's West Side.  Wanted suspect Luis Nitsche, 23 was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Saturday near West 174th Street and Parkmount Avenue.
