(WOIO) - Ike Hilliard has just been added to the Redskins coach squad as their wide receivers coach, the club said Monday.
Hilliard, 37, coached the Redskins' wide receivers in 2012, then joined the Bills' coaching staff in the same role for 2013. Buffalo parted ways with Hilliard after the season.
Hilliard played 12 NFL seasons at wide receiver, catching a combined 546 passes for 6,397 yards with 35 touchdowns in stints with the Giants (1997-2004) and Buccaneers (2005-2008).
New Redskins coach Jay Gruden was a Buccaneers' assistant coach for Hillard's four seasons in Tampa Bay.
