Hyde out, Buckeye tailback to skip Senior Bowl

Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde has decided to skip the Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL. He is one of nine players that are healthy, but are backing out.  Among the others on that list are Michigan State cornerback Darqueze Dennard, Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron, Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley and Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack.

There is one Buckeye still in the game, offensive tackle Jake Mewhortt.

Despite backing out, Hyde is still expected to be one of the top running backs picked in the NFL draft, he could even be the first one selected.

The Senior Bowl is Saturday at 4:00.
