The Miami Beach Police Department arrested pop singer Justin Bieber on suspicion of DUI and drag racing, according to its Twitter feed Thursday. The department tweeted the information at 7 a.m. ET. Bieber, 19, was in a rented Lamborghini when arrested at approximately 4 a.m., according to NBC 6 South Florida. A police spokesman told NBC 6 the car and another vehicle were pulled over. Bieber failed a sobriety test and was taken into custody, the spokesman said. The teen has been spotted around the city of Miami this week, including Monday when the King of Diamonds strip club owner tweeted Bieber had asked for $75,000 in singles. Police in nearby Opa-locka are also under investigation for an unauthorized escort of Bieber after he landed at the airport earlier in the week.

Kmart's parent company Sears Holdings confirmed the Detroit Road Kmart will close in late April. The lease isn't being renewed.  Liquidation will begin on February 9. Many will receive severance pay and have the opportunity to apply for open positions at other area Sears and Kmart stores. Sears Holdings has nearly 2,500 retail stores in the United States and Canada.
