Cleveland police and firefighters are investigating after a small explosion at a suspected marijuana grow lab.
It happened on Tuesday evening at West 105th Street and Joan Avenue, but officers and the Bomb Squad were called back to the scene around 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
Investigators believe the home was being used to make butane honey oil or hash oil. That is an extract of marijuana usually smoked or vaporized. Making and using it can be highly flammable.
One person was hurt during the explosion, but not critically. No word on a condition at this time.
Butane honey oil has been rarely seen in Northeast Ohio. One investigator tells 19 Action News it's been more common on the west coast.
