Officials with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health announced Wednesday afternoon a total of nine people have died from the flu this season.
Two of the victims died this week.
Health officials add this is the third consecutive week that pneumonia and influenza-related deaths were higher than 6%, a threshold of significance for this indicator.
