At least two men are set to plead guilty Thursday in connection with the death of a teen after a heroin deal.
Last October, Lanny Guillion III, 19, was found dead in some bushes near West 139th and Triskett in Cleveland. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner found he died from the combined effects of ethanol and heroin.
Cleveland Police Narcotics Investigators found out where the teen had bought the drugs. Three men and a woman were indicted.
Court records show two have agreed to take plea offers. The other two are still set for trial on Monday.
Local leaders have been searching for ways to deal with what they call the "heroin epidemic", a soaring number of people getting addicted to and dying from the drug.
