Baseball season is just around the corner, and the Indians will make that official on Friday when their equipment trucks hit the road for Goodyear, AZ. The final loading of the trucks will take place Friday morning and wheels are set to roll around 9:00 in the morning.
Several trucks will carry everything a Major League baseball team needs to get by on the road for nearly seven weeks. From bats and balls to sunflower seeds and athletic tape and everything in between, even some players luggage and golf clubs, will be on the trucks.
Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to Goodyear, AZ, on February 11, with their first workout set for February 13. The full squad reports on February 15, with the first full-squad workout set for February 17.
